A considered view.
A curious mind.
Hello, I’m Chun Wong.
SecurityNotes is my place to think out loud about security, privacy, AI, governance and technology — and the other things that catch my attention.
I’m interested in the choices people and organisations make: what they’re trying to achieve, the risks they accept, and whether the results justify the effort.
My professional background is in information security and cyber risk leadership. That experience informs my writing, but this is an independent personal publication. There is room here for questions, changing perspectives and interests beyond work, including aviation.
Keeping the record.
Older articles are preserved with their original wording and publication dates. They reflect the context in which they were written. Any future revisit will be a separately dated article, linking back to the original.
Recent writing is also published on LinkedIn. SecurityNotes is the permanent home for this collection.
Thinking into practice.
Through Fortuna Systems, I help organisations with fractional CISO leadership, customer assurance, ISO 27001 and SOC 2 readiness, AI governance and board advisory.
